The two 2024 LHSAA Division V state tournament participants from Jackson Parish,  defending state champion, Quitman High School, and state semi-finalist, Weston High School, continue their early 2025 season schedule gauntlet of playing schools from higher classifications by competing in weekend tournaments. 

The Wolves, now 3-3 on the season, will begin their busy schedule of four games in four days during the stretch of February 19-22 by hosting Class 4A Bossier High at 5:30 pm on Wednesday at the Jackson Parish Recreation Department Sports Complex in a contest that was originally scheduled for February 18th but moved due to expected inclement weather. 

Weston will then hit the road for three straight days as they compete in the prestigious Trey Altick Prep Classic that includes dozens of teams from all over the state of Louisiana playing in mutliple venues across the area. The Wolves open tourney play by facing Class 4A Franklin Parish at St. Frederick’s High School in Monroe at 3:45 on Thursday. On Friday at 7:00 pm, the venue for Weston moves to the Ruston Sports Complex for a contest against Central Private High School out of Baker, LA, Saturday, February 22nd finds Weston playing against St. Charles Catholic High School out of LaPlace, LA at Ouachita Parish High School with first pitch scheduled for 2:30 pm. 

Still seeking their first victory of the season after four losses, Quitman High School will travel to the Shreveport – Bossier area for three games. The Wolverines open their northwest LA journey by taking on Class 5A Parkway High School in Bossier City for a 5:00 pm game on Thursday. QHS then will compete in the Northwood – Shreve High School Tourney with a pair of games scheduled for Saturday, February 22nd where they will face Class 5A Natchitoches-Central at 11:00 am and then following that up with a contest against Class 3A Evangel Christian out of Shreveport for a 3:00 pm game. 

Prep Baseball Schedule (February 18 – 22)
