2025 I J Allen Scholarship Recipients Announced

The Jackson Parish School District is proud to announce the 2025 I.J. Allen Scholarship recipients. Earning the top award of $6,000.00 is Cejay Colvin of Weston High School with Corey Tucker, also from Weston, receiving $4,000.00 and Cali Deal from Quitman High School garnering a $3,000.00 award.

We are incredibly proud to celebrate these outstanding students who have been awarded this prestigious scholarship. Their dedication, hard work, and determination have earned them this incredible opportunity, and we can’t wait to see all that they will accomplish in their academic journeys! The I. J. Allen Memorial Scholarship is awarded each year by the Jonesboro State Bank to deserving graduating seniors of the Jackson Parish schools. The three-tiered level awards, which annually amounts to $13,000.00 is in honor of Mr. I. J. Allen who was born in 1883 and died in 1980 at the age of 97 years old.
