Official Period of Mourning declared for Jonesboro Councilman James Ginn

It is with profound sorrow that Mayor J. “Spike” Harris and the Town of Jonesboro announce the passing of District A Councilman James Ginn

On Friday, June 7th, residents of the Town of Jonesboro and Jackson Parish were shocked upon learning that James Ginn, who had served as Councilman for District A for the past seven years, had passed away.

In honor of his legacy, Jonesboro Mayor James “Spike” Harris has declared an official Period of Mourning that will commence on June 9th and continue for a duration of 30 days.

“Councilman Ginn was a steadfast supporter and passionate advocate for the development and enhancement of Jonesboro, Louisiana,” said Harris. “His unwavering commitment and dedication to our beloved city will forever be etched in our collective memory.”
