Late Rally Falls Short for QHS girls

A 28-12 halftime lead by Choudrant was too much for Quitman to overcome despite a spirited second-half rally that drew the Lady Wolverines to within three points late in the game. The tough shooting night that saw QHS make only 13 of 55 (24%) field goals dampered what was a great night by Anna Leach, who scored 23 points (half the Quitman total) that included three 3-pointers. Hallie Kate Pullig was next in scoring with 8 points and led QHS with 9 rebounds, as Allie Robertson finished with 7 points. Kinsley Ponder, Taylor Borland, Annie Mobley, and Emma Walker, who also had 5 boards and 4 steals, all tallied two points each.
