Five Qualify for Jackson Parish Sheriff Election, Two for Clerk of Court

Per the Louisiana Secretary of State, five people have officially qualified to run for Jackson Parish Sheriff, and two more for the Office of Jackson Parish Clerk of Court. 

The election date for these two positions, as well as U.S. Senator, U.S. 4th Congressional District Representative, 4th District Supreme Court Associate Justice, and District 5 Public Service Commissioner, will be on May 16, 2026.
