The annual “Backing the Badge” breakfast took place on Monday, October 14th at the McDonald Memorial Baptist Church (MMBC) in appreciation to first responders and correctional officers from all over Jackson Parish. 

Enjoying the scrumptious meal cooked and served by the congregation of the MMBC were representatives from the Jackson Parish Sheriff’s Office, Jackson Parish Jail, Jonesboro Police Department, Hodge Police Department, Jackson Parish Ambulance Service District, Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries, and area Fire Departments.
